Meet Chino LaForge, Hawai'i's charismatic and surefire stand up comedian currently performing comedy, acting and producing events back home on Maui, after touring nationally and working out of the heart of Hollywood.
A proficient performer, Chino has amused audiences since grade school, whether as an actor, singer, musician, dancer, doing improv or entertaining friends. Focusing his attention to stand up over the 15 years, Chino continues to walk the line of offensive with raw stories and physical presentation. His animal-style comedy comes from a place of organic honesty, and referred to as "gimmick-free" by fellow performers.

In 2010, Chino and Ted founded Power Up Comedy, a production company that nurtures talent and produces top-notch shows featuring local and national acts. Chino has produced shows and shared the stage on Maui with comedy legends such as Hannibal Buress, Rell Battle, Ari Shaffir, Jamie Kennedy, Jeff Dye, and opened for Chris Redd and James Austin Johnson of "Saturday Night Live." He's performed on numerous stages across Hawai'i for theatre, improv and stand up, while also appearing as a radio and TV personality. Chino earned the title of "Maui's Best Comic" multiple times, toured with Steve-O of MTV's "Jackass" across the Hawaiian Islands, and was also the sole comedian selected from Maui to participate in the national Maui Comedy Festival in 2014, and shared the bill with such greats as Tig Nitaro, Eddie Pepitone, Craig Robinson, Greg Proops, and many more.
Chino LaForge's comedic journey has taken him far and wide, from living in Los Angeles to touring in various stand up meccas, including New York, the Pacific Northwest, Las Vegas, Colorado, the West Coast and the Midwest. He's played at casinos nationwide, planned cross-country tours, toured Guam, and memorably opened for the legendary Cheech & Chong in front of thousands in Lahaina, Maui.
In addition to his stand-up success, Chino is now starring in the hit new television comedy series, "Moku Moku", an entirely-local production, made on Maui. He's a humble Maui boy, and inspired to nationally tour out of the LA grind since 2015. He's performed at such legendary spots as Flappers Burbank, The Ice House in Pasadena, HaHa Cafe, and shared LA stages with Judd Apatow, Joe Rogan, Greg Wilson, Adam Hunter, Brodie Stevens, and many more fine talents. Chino was passed at The Improv Hollywood in 2020 pre-COVID, and has been a regular at The World Famous Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard, as well as appeared as a feature on Pasadena TV's "Thursday Night Live."
