Amanda Cohen

Amanda Cohen

From the tiny gap between Boomer and GenX, AMANDA COHEN is the voice of a generation no one listens to, and audiences of all ages love her. She can be clean enough for a church, hot enough for a bar, and smart enough for public radio. Amanda is ideal for (but not limited to) educated, mature, progressive-leaning audiences. She's your best nightmare: a junior crone with a sharp sense of irony who will challenge your assumptions about women of a certain age with her dark humor.

Originally from Western Mass, AMANDA has performed at the Improv and The Comedy Store in LA, and she studied improvisation and sketch writing at Chicago's Second City Conservatory before becoming part of the LA comedy scene in 2017. In September 2023 she will be competing in the 47th Annual San Franciso Comedy Competition. Currently AMANDA is a regular at Flapper's Comedy Club in Burbank, CA and other clubs around LA when she isn't touring and building a growing fan base that loves her unique style of intelligent humor.

She recently competed in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition. In 2019 and 2020, she was as top 16 finalist in the World Series of Comedy.

She's been lucky enough to work with Jay Leno, Jimmy Brogan, Jackie Kashian, Matt Kirshen, Monique Marvez, Jill Kimmel, Ben Gleib and Jamie Kennedy.
